Softbond was founded in 1995, when its founder Don Arturo Alessandrini, laid the foundations for the development of the nonwovens market in Argentina, after a long experience in the plastic industry.
In 1996, the first spunbonded production line in Argentina was put into operation, being pioneers of this process in the country and in the region.
Currently our plant has production lines on 50,000m2 of land, offering scale and diversity of products under the spunbonded, spunmelt and meltblown processes.
Our production lines manufacture a wide variety of spunmelt nonwovens that meet the demands of our customers, who have trusted in our products and services from the beginning of our production.
Our products are present in the local market as well as in the regional markets. They are actively exported to Brazil, Uruguay, Chile and Paraguay among others.
We are certified under the International Quality Standards ISO 9001, Environmental Management System 14.001
and have been approved by many different auditors from local and international customers.
